General

Cabinet Ministers have access to all Cabinet material on CabNet.

Ministers outside Cabinet have access to Cabinet material for the Cabinet committees they are on, and to papers within their own portfolio or relating to their portfolio.

Ministers may access the full CabNet system from their offices, or by using the CabDocs application for a set of time-bound papers.

CabDocs

CabDocs is a tablet application designed for use by Ministers. It allows Ministers to view on a secure tablet device a time-bound set of papers and documents that have been uploaded into CabNet.

CabDocs provides individual Ministers with their relevant papers for a set of upcoming Cabinet or Cabinet committee meetings. The application also provides access to papers that have been considered at meetings relevant to the individual Minister that have occurred in the previous two weeks.
