It is my pleasure to announce that Michael Webster has been appointed to the role of Secretary of the Cabinet and Clerk of the Executive Council.
Michael has been the Deputy Secretary of the Cabinet (Constitutional and Honours) in the Cabinet Office, Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, since 2008. During that time he has built credible relationships across the political environment and a reputation for integrity and professionalism.
Michael has been acting Secretary of the Cabinet and Clerk of the Executive Council and takes on the role permanently from Tuesday 18 March.
